Pricing and Quotes
How I Charge
Every project is unique, and the cost of working with The Curated Estate depends on your property, your goals, and the level of support you need. A brief consultation is the best way to narrow this down and provide a clear picture of what your project might involve, where we can save time, and where time can add up.
Hourly Rate
My services are billed at $100 per hour. Time is the largest factor in determining cost. In addition, any project-related expenses (such as moving supplies, home repairs, or vendor services) are billed as a direct pass-through, with no markup.
Smart Delegation
I don’t spend your money doing tasks that can be done more cost-effectively by others. For example, while I can pack and move boxes, it often makes more sense to hire movers once we’ve sorted through everything. I hire vendors when appropriate and pass their costs directly to you.
No Commission
When selling items, I make recommendations and coordinate with estate sale experts, consignment shops, and dealers, but all proceeds go directly to you. My compensation is based only on time, not commission.
Additional Hands if Needed
If a fast turnaround requires extra help, I bring in trusted assistants at a lower hourly rate to fill in gaps when hiring outside vendors isn’t practical.
Flexible Payment Options
In many cases, fees can be paid out of the proceeds of a property sale, making the process easier during times of transition.
